Judy graduated
valedictorian from Craig Senior High School in Janesville, Wisconsin,
then graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
with a bachelor's degree in political science secondary education
with a minor in sociology. She completed her law degree from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison while working full-time. She is
married and has a young adult son.
